The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
There's much to enjoy in this stunning action hero caper with Sean Connery leading a group of extraordinary figures with legendary powers against the terror of The Phantom. Deviating from sci-fi writer Alan Moore's Victorian X-Men, the "League" includes Captain Nemo, the invisible man, Tom Sawyer, invincible Dorian Gray, and the split personality of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde.
As far as comic-book movies go this one is excelllient, like a new version of the X-men in which all sorts of characters are included and I hope that Sean Connery does a sequel with all the characters like Captin Nemo, The Invisible Man and Mr. Hyde. I love this film!

Couldn't stay awake to watch this film, it did not keep my interest at all.

Right I have just awoken from my Coma. I was put there watching 5 mins of this Film. The film was potent, I couldn't see the invisible man and why was Salmon Rushdi given a lead role? They should had made Rin Tin the squel staring Brother Love. This film is a miss at all costs. Buy some deodorant instead!!

Oh dear, another good idea ends up in a bad film. This is an unsubtle stab at adapting Alan Moore's cult graphic novel. The literary references are thrown out with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer, particularly the introduction of Tom Sawyer. Some of the CGI is laughable, and even the mighty Connery must wish he'd stayed away from this one. The shoot in Prague was blighted by terrible floods and, apparently, the stress showed on set. It's watchable, but expect to be baffled by the 'plot'.
