Brilliant film. I was really impressed with how the storyline introduced all the characters and how they made Anakin a really nice boy because that makes fans wonder just how evil he will become when he finally dons the helmet of Darth Vader. The action scenes were great - my favourites are the podrace and the final battle including the duel, the space battle & the droid battle. I loved this film and Darth Maul made a great Sith.

Star Wars Episode I is has one of the most detailed and decent star wars villian (Darth Maul). If this movie didn't include Darth Maul, it would be incomplete. This is a very good movie for anyone. It has equal amount of action, dialogue, speech and humour. Anyone could enjoy this movie and give it a decent rating. This is my favourite star wars movie. (Only because it has darth maul in it (he he he!). John Williams (the musician of the movie), made this movie superb. Two thumbs way up!!!

Most sagas start off slow and cumbersome - LOTR for example. Star Wars is different: it's fast and racy, just what we fans have come to expect from one of the best directors in the world. And to get this 25 years after Ep4... WOW!

For all those who doubted The Phantom Menace, I am here to object. Episode One not only brings the beginning of the saga but also the very revelations of the Dark Side and the prophecy of the chosen one. A great film, and a great cast.

Fantastic! movie. Everything is perfect about it - the story, the fight scenes. The best bit is the Pod-Race. Should have seen more of Darth Maul though.

A fantastic way to start the brillant Star Wars saga.
