Win REC Posters
You can catch relentless fright-fest [REC] in UK cinemas now and we want to know what you think about the movie which has been a huge hit in its native Spain.Send us a short review of the film and we'll put you in the pot to receive one of twenty movie posters signed by [REC]'s visionary directors Juame Balaguero and Paco Plaza.
Drawing inevitable comparisons to The Blair Witch Project, horror movie [REC] revolves around a television reporter, Angela (newcomer Manuela Velasco), and her cameraman, who cover the night shift in one of Barcelona's local fire stations.
The overbearing similarity is that it's recorded entirely on "amateur" camera, and the cameraman is also just a character in the story, but when the fire crew respond to a call from an old lady trapped in her house, the ensuing action is all together more horrific and, more importantly, frightening than The Blair Witch.
With a bit of gore and a lot of tension, this could be the scariest thing to have come out of Spain since Enrique Iglesias' mole.
