Farce in the force in this early entrant to the 'Carry On' series, with the British bobby painted a bluer shade of blue in a cheerful series of vignettes. Such stalwarts as Eric Barker, Terence Longdon, Hattie Jacques and Irene Handl loom up in support, but funniest of all are Sidney James as the station sergeant and Joan Sims as Wpc Passworthy.
