This vintage romp was the third Carry On, with Ted Ray showing how good he might have been as a second Will Hay. Here Ted plays an acting headmaster hoping to move on to better things. But with a staff that includes Kenneth Williams, Kenneth Connor, and Charles Hawtrey, it's a pound to a pinch of itching powder that it will all end in disaster. Plenty of chuckles for fans of the series.
