Joe Don Baker crashes his way through the Philippine jungle in this daft road race caper that has him and 50 other drivers keeping the pedal to the metal for a $100,000 prize. Larry Hagman is the promoter who thinks he's dreamed up the ultimate race and Susan Sarandon is the girl reporter assigned to Baker's race car. What these stars are doing in this old tosh is anybody's guess as it wasn't a good career move for any of them. This second-rate race makes The Cannonball Run look like Formula One. Come back Burt Reynolds, all is forgiven.
