The story, by Guerdon Trueblood, is - so the credits tell us - suggested by the novel Jaws, by Peter Benchley. That's about as far as the similarity between this shark shocker and the two previous films goes, even though co-scenarist Carl Gottlieb did work on the script of Steven Spielberg's original film. The action here takes place in Florida (not Amity Island), but there is still a great white shark or two ready to snap their teeth at a cast that includes Dennis Quaid, Bess Armstrong, Britain's Simon MacCorkindale and P H Moriarty. The movie was originally shown in cinemas in 3-D, so be prepared for sharks coming straight for the screen.
