Rhea (Cheers) Perlman is the slightly unlikely star of this familiar story. It's the one about the tough undisciplined inner city kids who, with the help of a caring coach, become a top team. The game here is basketball and Perlman is the coach. There are all the usual hassles, conflicts and trauma you would expect from the somewhat clichéd plot. The cast tries hard to make this work, but the story has been told better before.
