There is bad that can be fun and there's bad bad. Meatballs III falls into the second category. An alleged teen comedy it's about a dead porn star who has to do a good deed to get into Heaven - so she decides to help nerdy Rudy get laid. That's the plot. The film itself is badly acted and badly directed, with a script that would insult even the most meagre of intelligences. Patrick Dempsey, who plays Rudy, went on to better things. But what was Sally Kellerman doing when she took the part of the dead porn queen? Lots of breast close-ups, though, so bosom fetishists should get something out of this.
