Malcolm (Lawrence), an FBI agent is hot on the trail of Lester (Howard), an escaped convict who's stolen $2million.

Malcolm and his partner (Giamatti) believe the best lead is Sherry (Long), Lester's ex-girlfriend.

Sherry calls Big Momma (Ella Mitchell) to seek refuge and rekindle their cold relationship.

Since the real Big Momma is out of town, the feds need a replacement. Step forward Agent Turner, who dons a latex disguise, hairpiece and heavy makeup in order to pass himself off as Big Momma.

It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings!

A cross between the Nutty Professor & Mrs Doubtfire, Big Momma's house is a comedy for the whole family.
