Starring ex-EastEnder Paul Nicholls, this is far from the worst British film of recent times, even if its story of South London tearaways is fairly familiar. A group of four or five lads whiles away the time by breaking into cars and stealing handbags. But their brotherhood is beginning to crack. Tommy is off to the army and Frannie has fallen in love. The others pull a burglary or two, but Charlie (Nicholls) has a crush on a blonde nurse (Dani Behr) and is becoming increasingly tired of best friend Jus (Roland Manookian), who's impetuous to the verge of psychotic. Though not great in the dialogue department, the film is shot in bright, fresh colours by Tony Imi and doesn't work out quite the way you might expect.
