A tense, if at times slow-moving suspense drama, with Jeff Daniels cast in just the sort of role at which he excels - a man out of his depth who finds his life falling apart. He's a college professor whose nightmare begins the day his wife disappears without trace. Look out for Ally McBeal's Gil Bellows as a detective who becomes involved. Heavily stylised in the manner of David Lynch, this is chilling, surreal stuff.
