Erik is a child actor who started out in Armageddon with an unaccredited role at the age of seven, and who brought himself recognition as the ill-fated orphan Fuzzy, in the Oscar nominated Cider House Rules, opposite Tobey Maguire and Michael Caine.

Erik's TV experience in Malcolm In The Middle has cemented his place on Hollywood's favourite kids list.

Although Erik has a learning disability, Asperger's Syndrome, he continues to secure roles in high profile movies, such as Unfaithful and Joe Dirt.
