A light spoof about life in the Mob, which gives us an aspiring writer (James Lorinz) going to work for his Uncle (Tony Darrow) to secretly gain inside knowledge of the Mob for his book. With a tiny role for Sandra Bullock - the last before her big breakthrough in Speed - as Jimmy's sexy exiting girlfriend, The Sopranos' thick-set Vinny Pastore (Pussy) already type-cast as a heavy, and Steve Buscemi making an uncredited appearance, it's certainly a curiosity: some of the voiceover is very funny, but it's a patchy comedy with little attention paid to logic.
