Linney is a 33 year old seamstress, living in an antagonistic Hell with her wedding planner mother, seeking solace in booze since the years following her husband's death.
Her fighting with her mother (a snake oil Rowlands) deflects her attention away from her troubled son.
Small town drama which is well played and scripted.
