Roland Gift

Born: May 28 1962
Where: Hull, Yorkshire, UK

The former Fine Young Cannibal made his feature debut in a cameo as lead singer of the band in Tin Men.

However, he first appeared in a featured role in the punkish Sammy and Rosie Get Laid With Frances Barber.

He attracted plaudits for his performance as a seedy pimp in 1989's Scandal, based on the notorious Keeler affair.

Returning to music and a solo career, he has made brief appearances including the portmanteau movie Ten Minutes Older: The Cello.
