When his pal is shot dead by drugs baron William Forsythe, Steven Seagal, sensitive on the inside, but with that stubborn tough-guy vengeful streak necessary for the film to continue, chases the cold-blooded killer through town, with much fighting, swearing and shooting - including brutal battles in a pool hall, an apartment and a butcher's shop - until we reach a typical climactic showdown. Seagal fans will be happy, others less thrilled.
