If you dislike 'nice' films, this is not for you.
A variant on Trading Places, it casts (equally happily) James Belushi as a convict who escapes from prison to see a baseball game, and Charles Grodin as the workaholic ad salesman whose lost Filofax is picked up by Belushi.
Grodin gets mugged and then thrown in jail, which is fortunate for Belushi who has taken over Grodin's lifestyle for an ad-pitch weekend, sinfully beating a powerful could-be client (Mako) at tennis, bedding the boss's daughter, and wining and dining in Grodin's best white suit.
Grodin learns a lot, Belushi falls on his feet and everything is neatly tied up with a happy ending.
Belushi and Grodin don't put a foot wrong, unlike Hector Elizondo, who overdoes his caricature of Belushi's hated warden.
Veronica Hamel makes the most of her few chances as Grodin's wife.
