Writer Jack Rosenthal's charming story of a day in the life of a TV crew is full of delights, the highlight of which is an amusing performance by Bill Nighy as the put-upon director, increasingly snarling and spitting as events conspire to thwart his production. Look for familiar TV faces such as Sally Phillips (I'm Alan Partridge) and Stephen Moore (Dad in Harry Enfield and Chums), alongside stars Amanda Holden and Tom Courtenay. A small film, but a little gem.
