Mickybo & Me

Two 10-year-old boys on either side of the religious divide in 1970s Belfast make friends and, inspired by the movie Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, head off to Australia. Based on Owen McCafferty's acclaimed play, this light-hearted portrait of the lives of two unlikely lads steers clear of the sort of cliches normally related to The Troubles - but that's not to say it isn't grounded in reality.
