Although not as side-splitting funny as some of their films together, this is about as colourful and entertaining a show as Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis ever put on screen. Jerry is a natural for the assistant lion tamer who wants to be a clown and Dean's lazy charm and melodious warble hit it big with a song called It's a Big, Wide, Wonderful World. A rare Martin-Lewis duet, Hey, Punchinello, is also a highlight of the film.
