Whatever happened to parts one to five?
All we ever seem to see on TV these days is wretched part six.
After a vivid opening sequence, when the body of mass killer Jason Voorhees is dug up from its grave and revived, Frankenstein-style via a bolt of lightning, the action quickly degenerates into a tongue-in-cheek romp.
It's so bad, in fact, that it took two years to reach British cinemas after its US release.
The cast is made up entirely of unknowns who will doubtless in the future deny having been in it.
But you will spot Tony Goldwyn, the nephew of legendary filmmaker Sam Goldwyn, who, as you may have seen earlier this evening, hit the big time as Patrick Swayze's best friend in 'Ghost'.
