Tim Dutton

Born: UK

The actor is probably best known for his role of Maurice in the drama Tom & Viv with Miranda Richardson and Willem Dafoe.

Early appearances included the children's TV programme Press Gang and he also worked extensively on the stage, notably with Sam Mendes (American Beauty).

Work followed in British TV staples including Alleyn Mysteries and Soldier Soldier while he made his big screen debut with a fleeting role in Patriot Games.

In 1994, he was cast in Tom & Viv and went on to make a named for himself in American sitcom Ally McBeal as "that cute English guy".

Feature work included the thriller Darkness Falls with Sherilyn Fenn and the dark comedy Dead By Monday with Helen Baxendale.

He had a minor role in the thriller The Bourne Identity and played the father in the fantasy drama Tooth with Harry Enfield and Sally Phillips.
