Four women share a problem: they have all been loved and left by lothario Barry Bostwick, a conman who moves on when his victim's money runs out. Bostwick makes a sparky swindler, and Linda Purl (particularly good as his latest victim), Dee Wallace Stone, Polly Bergen and Erin Gray are all fine in their roles. But what starts out as quite a serious examination of a serious social issue changes gear half-way through, degenerating into a pretty silly semi-farce once the women get together and plan their revenge. It could have been a decent study of obsession, but instead it is a thorough waste of a good idea and a good cast - which also includes Hector Elizondo as a police detective.
