Teri Hatcher

Superman sidekick and Bond girl Teri started out as a cheerleader and maths student.
She studied acting at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre while taking a degree in mathematics and engineering, also becoming part of professional American football cheerleading squad the 1984 Gold Rush.
Teri went to Hollywood to lend support to a friend during an open audition. Although not there to take part, Teri also auditioned, winning the role of singing, dancing mermaid in TV series The Love Boat.
Teri made her film debut in 1989 comedy The Big Picture, then went into drama as Sylvester Stallone's love interest in Tango And Cash.
In 1993, she caught the attention of viewers as the very modern Lois Lane in TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
In 1996, she appeared opposite Alec Baldwin in thriller Heaven's Prisoners and took a role in John Herzfeld's crime drama 2 Days in the Valley.
Teri subsequently co-starred in David Schwimmer's Since You've Been Gone and played James Bond's former love in 1997's Tomorrow Never Dies. Scenes had to be shot carefully as Teri was pregnant with first child Emerson Rose, born in November 1997.
