A weepie about a career woman who seeks publicity for her daily radio programme. To prove her 'caring nature', she adopts a child in a Kansas home - and dumps him. Anne Archer plays the icy psychiatrist with Tony Roberts as her boy-friend and Bobby Jacoby as the freckled Kansas kid. It is one of those TV movies where most of the cast are psychiatrists and spend most of the time talking about problems rather than facing them!
