This is a fairly obscure film from the Orson Welles annals, though its screenplay is co-written by Joel Coen, later famous for his work on Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing and Fargo. It's patchy but interesting, with an easy-going performance from Michael Murphy as the ex-con who finds himself with the loot of the title.
