Nicely performed 70s character piece about hustler and banned motorbike racer Halsy (Redford) who talks gullible Faus (played by the wonderful Michael J. Pollard) into teaming up with him and racing under Fauss' name.
En route they are joined by hippie chick Hutton (who makes a very memorable entrance!) .
Very 70s feel to it - which is no bad thing - but may put off some viewers, although its brilliantly acted (possibly the fact that Pollard and Redford hated each other helped) and has a great Johnny Cash soundtrack.
