George Clooney, heartthrob star of ER and the new big screen Batman in Batman and Robin, hardly advanced his career with this below-average pilot film to a derivative TV cop series. Clooney is almost unrecognisable as a long-haired guitar-player, one of a team of four undercover motorcycle cops. All the characters are by-the-book standards from every cop show you've ever seen before and their dialogue is pitched at junior school playground level. There are plenty of high-speed chases (hey, fellas, we have to use those bikes, right! ) to fill in the many gaps in the plot, but the script arrives brain-dead.
