Grizzled old Kris Kristofferson is typecast as a tough Chicago cop searching for his missing model daughter in the Caribbean in a murder conspiracy thriller that stretches the imagination more than the brain. The complicated white slave trade plot never really grips or involves, since it becomes increasingly far-fetched and unreal, and the climax is particularly silly. Kristofferson is a reassuring presence in all this desperate plotting.
