Director Paul Lynch has a good idea for a thriller here, and a decent cast, but his own uninspired treatment ensures that the results are only average late-night fare. Robert Urich, of Spenser for Hire fame, plays an ordinary guy (or is he? ) who might hold the key to the identity of a savage serial killer - if only he hadn't sustained amnesia from an explosion at the scene of the latest murder. Michael Ironside gives a typical hard-driving performance as the police lieutenant determined to root out the truth whether it damages Urich or not.
