Eliza Dushku
Born: 30th December 1980
Where: Boston, Massachusetts
Eliza appeared on stage at the Watertown Children's Theater, performing in productions and also serving as a sign-language interpreter for hearing-impaired audience members.
In 1991, she was discovered at the end of a 5-month search throughout the US for the perfect girl to play the lead role of Alice opposite Juliette Lewis in the film That Night.
Then a year later she played Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter in James Cameron's humorous action movie True Lies.
2001 saw her career continuing to improve, with co-starring roles in no less than three high profile features.
Of these, the thriller Soul Survivors cast her alongside other young Hollywood favourites Casey Affleck and Wes Bentley.
The New Guy marked her return to teen comedy, and the crime drama City By the Sea re-teamed the young actress with Robert De Niro.
