Loner cop Thomas Ian Griffith single-handedly takes on a drug gang in this predictable slice of martial arts mayhem. It's a hoary old chestnut of a script - so you should figure out the ending way in advance. Even so, the film is aptly named and, for those who like their action fast, furious and frequent, this may fit the bill. Mind you, an excellent supporting cast that includes James Earl Jones and Burt Young seems largely wasted in a film largely devoted to stunts and violent action.
