Corny, unbelievable dialogue and stilted acting mark out this American cable TV thriller as a slice of overcooked turkey. All the more surprising considering the top-flight cast of Charles Dance, Lou Diamond Phillips and Mia Sara, and a hand in the script from ace action director Kathryn Bigelow (Blue Steel, Point Break, Strange Days). The story is a by-the-numbers love triangle thriller set in a remote cabin during a hurricane. Communication is basically through grunts, sneers and words of few syllables. At least the scenery looks good when the storm stops.
