The young British actress made a name for herself as the abused and confused teenager in Tim Roth's directorial debut, the unstintingly bleak but well-acted family drama The War Zone.

She then features in the California-based Ken Loach drama Bread And Roses and in Long Time Dead, about a group of young Londoners who mess around with a Ouija board until they start to wish they'd never laid eyes on it.
