White hunter Victor Mature leads a safari consisting of elderly Sir Roland Culver, his attractive fiancee Janet Leigh and their friend John Justin into Kenya's Mau Mau territory. One of several modestly ambitious films made by Britain Warwick Films in the Fifties, it's a fairly robust, devil-may-care adventure, with the lions easily upstaging the human cast, whose lip-smacking performances are at least amusing.
