When three specialised law enforcement officers get together to crack down on mobsters, it sounds like an idea for a TV series. Despite the star presence of Cliff Gorman (The Boys in the Band and Night of the Juggler) and a young Richard Gere, the project got no further than this disappointingly routine pilot, efficiently directed by the once-promising Barry Shear (Across 110th Street and The Todd Killings).
