The slim story-line revolves around Cantinflas - the Mexican comic actor who made such a name for himself as Passepartout in Around the World in 80 Days - as a simple peasant whose horse is bought by a film director. Those who like to play star-spotting should look for Tony Curtis, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Debbie Reynolds, Kim Novak, Greer Garson, Edward G Robinsin, Janet Blair, Donna Reed, Jack Lemmon, Janet Leigh, Judy Garland, Maurice Chevalier, Bobby Darin, Jimmy Durante, Sammy Davis Jr, Andre Previn and several more only slightly less famous.
