Fans of the cop in the crumpled coat should enjoy this early mystery, as Columbo (Peter Falk) is called in to investigate a murder at a Middle Eastern embassy. With the possibility of diplomatic immunity, will the lieutenant collar the culprit? It's quite an enjoyable entry in Columbo's case file, with an early role for Hector Elizondo as one of the suspects. Sal Mineo has one of his last roles, chillingly predicting real events. He is killed off in this mystery. Only months later Mineo himself was murdered.
