Bruce Dies Hard Again

He said he'd never return - but Bruce Willis is to make an explosive comeback in Die Hardest - the fourth and final film in the series.

The Sun reports that his character, NYPD officer John McLane, will be killed off in dramatic fashion.

A movie insider told the paper: "Bruce is keen to get it done and dusted and concentrate on more intelligent films."

"He's tired of running with guns and yelling.

The movie will be set in the Caribbean and teams police officer McClane with his daughter as they battle treasure hunters on a trail for some missing gold.

Die Hardest is due to begin shooting late next year.
