Sherilyn Fenn
Born: 1 February 1965
Where: Detroit, Michigan, USA
Fenn grew up moving constantly from place to place with her mother. The alluring former Playboy bunny turned sultry leading lady made her film debut in The Wild Life and spent much of the 1980s playing semi-clad vamps in films like the teen survival flick Out of Control, Thrashin', and the horror thriller Zombie High.
Fenn landed her first starring role as a Southern debutante in Zalman King's Two Moon Junction, followed by another leading turn in Charles Band's erotic thriller, Meridian: Kiss of the Beast.
She also made guest appearances in several series like 21 Jump Street, and made-for-TV movies before making her mark as in David Lynch's Twin Peaks, for which she received a 1990 Emmy nomination.
Fenn's first high-profile mainstream credit was in Lynch's Wild at Heart. She then appeared in Diary of a Hitman, the directorial debut of her acting teacher Roy London.
She took a role in Gary Sinise's remake of Of Mice and Men, then followed with the romantic comedy Three of Hearts, alongside William Baldwin and Kelly Lynch.
She was the love object cut down to size in David Lynch's daughter Jennifer's controversial directing debut, Boxing Helena. She also acted in Carl Reiner's Fatal Instinct.
Television provided Fenn her best opportunities throughout the rest of the 90s. With the new millennium, she continued to appear in features like Swindle with Tom Sizemore and The United States of Leland with Don Cheadle and Chris Klein.
