Martyn Burke

Canadian writer Martyn Burke has been directing, producing and writing movies since 1973 when he produced the TV movie Carnivals.

It was The Clown Murders in 1976, written and directed by Burke, that brought him acclaim, and the thriller Power Play in 1978 brought him further commercial success.

Since then Burke has directed The Last Chase in 1981, and after a twenty year absence from the big screen, he returned in 2002 with Avenging Angelo, starring Sylvester Stallone, Madeleine Stowe and Aidan Quinn.
