Meg Tilly
Born: February 14, 1960
Where: Long Beach, California
A professional dancer, who also made a name for herself in film, Meg Tilly started off in Fame in 1980 - as a background dancer - but a back injury prevented her from taking that career further.
Her first speaking role was in an episode of Hill Street Blues, and in 1982 Meg was cast in a leading role for the first time in a feature - in Tex.
She was cast in Psycho 2 in 1983.
It was the following year that Meg saw her career reach new heights. She was cast opposite Tom Berenger and Glenn Close in The Big Chill.
Meg's career has not particularly flourished since then. She turned her hand to writing for a while and published a novel called Singing Songs - and then sold the rights to United Artists.
Most recently Meg has appeared in Sleep With Me, opposite Eric Stoltz.
