'The most boring Vietnam war movie since The Green Berets' said 'Variety' of this unpleasant story about bored US pilots.
Frustrated by the lack of action during the 1972 peace talks, a couple of them decide on a private mission to wipe out the People's Resistance Park in Hanoi.
The film's only redeeming feature is the raid itself - a tribute to special effects, model-makers and the generous contribution of the US military: on the ground, though, things look extremely static.
Principal roles are played by Danny Glover, as the tough-talking commander, Willem Dafoe as a veteran flier and Brad Johnson as an ace pilot.
Rosanna Arquette, Ving Rhames, David Schwimmer and Tom Sizemore are also in a good cast: presumably they did all read the script.
