Despite the up-market credits - direction by Paul Michael Glaser, photography by Dean Cundey, music by Basil Poledouris - this is a resolutely down-market movie about a league of power-hungry women. Madeleine Stowe (later to star in such movies as 'StakeOut' and 'Revenge' got her first leading role as the physician who finds herself reluctantly cast as their chief adversary. Leading man Jack Scalia went on to star in the TV series 'Wolf'. Well, we all have to start somewhere.
