The Long Walk Home

Whoopi Goldberg and Sissy Spacek star in this poignant drama about the friendship and subsequent political alliance forged between a rich white housewife and her black maid in America's Deep South in the 1950s. Set against the famous bus boycott lead by Martin Luther King in 1955 the two women must decide what they are going to do in response to the emerging divisions in America's stance on civil rights.
