This story of upper class drug users, lowlife dealers and dodgy coppers runs like a Nineties version of a Fifties British second feature (with liberal doses of sex and foul language thrown in). There's a mostly British cast, plus a token American star - in this case C Thomas Howell - all following a fairly penny dreadful plot. Liz Hurley - more famous for going to premieres than actually being in films - is the rich bitch heroin addict caught up min a web of corruption, Howell is the bike messenger who has taken a shine to her and Joss Ackland is the drug squad copper on the case. None of this is really very believeable - which is odd when you realise that debut director Henry Cole is formerly a drug addict from a wealthy family. Add to this the fact that none of the characters are very sympathetic and you have a pretty poor film. The video distributors knew this, too, because all the video cover could crow about was that Liz gets her kit off.
