Fatal Attraction meets The Silence of the Lambs in this derivative erotic thriller that has little going for it apart from an impressive performance by attractive star Rebecca DeMornay. Criminal psychologist Sarah (DeMornay) has got the jitters, thanks to dealing with a very unpleasant serial killer (Harry Dean Stanton). So what does she do? Embark on a passionate friendship with handsome stranger Tony (Antonio Banderas), whom she meets in a supermarket. Silly woman. The sex is great (as evidenced by the plentiful steamy scenes) but our Latin lover hero is up to some devious and nasty tricks. The script is garbage, so you have to sympathise with the director, British theatre guru Peter Hall, whose finest hour this is definitely not.
