Critically scorned, this crude romp had some success at the box-office, even though, by and large, it's a witless parody of James Bond movies, made 20 years too late. Despite a bright start, and enthusiastic work from Mike Myers and Liz Hurley, it quickly develops into a very basic skit of the sort you might see at the end of a TV special. Wow! Fab! Groovy! Not! Seriously folks, unless you fancy a below-par 'Carry On' style film, you'd be better off having 40 winks - especially if you're over 40 yourself. Your sub-teen schooler may find bits of it funny, though you should be warned the film originally had a 15 certificate.
