A cast led by Eric Roberts and Jurgen Prochnow, a story of embittered employees made redundant, family tensions and a terrifying skyscraper fire: plenty of elements for a rich dramatic mix, you would think. But no, this lot just fails to gel. US Treasury employee Dean (Roberts) has just been made redundant, and he and tour guide fiancée Fiona (Cali Timmins) have organised a tour of the Treasury Building in order to tell their respective resentful kids that they do plan to marry. Up pops redundant colleague Quentin (Jürgen Prochnow) with a gun in his hand... Well, things go from bad to worse, and a towering inferno is the result. Will anyone survive? Will family relationships be repaired? This is never as exciting as it sounds: its lukewarm tale plods along so mechanically that you may not wish to stay around to find out.
